B-727
Systems Review
Product Description
When Nolly Productions, Inc. first
started the aviation video revolution, 20 years ago, our first
commercial video was a Systems Review of the B-727. George Nolly,
who had been a Systems Instructor for a major airline, covered all
the major systems on the Basic B-727, with some discussion of the
Advanced aircraft. The instructional content was outstanding, but
the video quality was abysmal. (It was shot on regular VHS DVD, and
the customer received a third-generation copy of that.) Talk about
mixed emotions: we were embarrassed by the grainy, snowy picture,
but extremely proud of the instruction. In fact, we held off
re-doing the video for a long time, because we just weren't sure we
could capture the magic and enthusiasm of a young George Nolly.
We shouldn't have worried. When George
remade the DVD in 1996, he was by that time an experienced Captain
and Check Airman on the B-727. And the instruction is even better
now than it was in 1979! Better yet, we shot and edited it on
professional gear and used some outstanding special effects to
enhance learning. Like when you see the electrical panel
superimposed over the schematic of the Electrical System. It all
becomes crystal clear.
Total DVD running time is just under 4 hours. You'll
cover every major system, starting with the Flight Engineer station
and then working through the forward panel and the overhead panel.
Every switch, control and indicator is covered, along with its
underlying schematic. The course is based on the B-727 Advanced
aircraft. When you finish this course, you'll really understand
B-727 systems!
Customer Comments
"Your B-727 Systems
Review is truly outstanding. It's a great way to prepare for either
Transition Training or a Proficiency Check. Even after all my years
instructing on the B-727, I found the tapes an excellent way to
reinforce my systems knowledge."
